Perricone MD: Light Renewal not available

I recently did a full review of Perricone MD Light Renewal – one of the best quality LED portable devices to hit the market.

In a straight comparison with Baby Quasar – Perricone MD Light Renewal was ahead on price – but only because of a dramatic price cut from Perricone.  LED light therapy is a big in-office facial rejuvenation treatment at the moment and portable LED devices enable you to get the same skin firming treatment at home.

Originally priced at more than $300 – Perricone MD had the Light Renewal device on offer at $168.  Unfortunately since I originally wrote this article – the Perricone MD Light Renewal has disappeared from Perricone MD website and from any other skin care sites.

There is no information from Perricone MD about the future for their Light Renewal product so at the moment we don’t know if this is a temporary glitch or a withdrawal from the market.

My suspicions are that its a withdrawal as the price drop was so sudden and there is no other announcement to explain what’s happened.

May be that Perricone MD is reacting to the flood of portable LED devices that have come on the market recently – many cheaply made units that are unlikely to deliver the skin firming and anti aging treatments you want.

Perricone MD and Baby Quasar were ahead of a lot of lower quality rivals – but with Perricone MD out of the market – Baby Quasar is probably the best option currently.

If there is any further information then it will be posted on this site – but for the time being your best alternative is the Baby Quasar.
